2025 Match Month

2025 Match Month Campaign

This November, the Gove County Community Foundation (GCCF) is excited to participate in the Dane G. Hansen Foundation’s Match Month initiative once again!

Throughout the month, every dollar you donate will be doubled by the Hansen Foundation, up to $50,000. Your donations will support our community grant fund, helping to fund important projects in Gove County. If we reach the $50,000 mark, GCCF will also receive an additional $45,000 for our operating endowment fund, plus an extra $5,000 for immediate needs.

This year, our goal is to raise $100,000. If we meet this goal, your donations will not only be matched by the Hansen Foundation, but we’ll also receive an additional $100,000 from the Patterson Family Foundation. That means your gift will have triple the impact!

What is an endowed fund?

An endowed fund is a special type of fund where donations are invested to generate earnings. The original donation stays intact, while the earnings are used to provide grants to local nonprofits. This ensures that your gift will continue supporting the community for many years.

Gifts of Grain

Farmers, you can also make a gift of grain to support GCCF. By donating grain instead of cash, you can take advantage of significant tax benefits while still making an impactful contribution to the community. Contact Sheyenne Spresser to learn more about this giving option.

Every Donation Counts

No donation is too small! We invite everyone with a connection to Gove County to help us reach our $100,000 goal and make a lasting difference.

Here’s how you can donate:

  • Mail your donation to GCCF, PO Box 553, Quinter, KS 67752
  • Online at https://gnwkcf.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/list?sorg_id=1041
  • Or in person by scheduling a meeting with Director Sheyenne Spresser at info@govecountycommunityfoundation.org or calling 785-673-3112

Join us for a fun-filled evening at our Dueling Pianos Match Month Event on November 30th! The event will be held at the American Legion building in Grainfield, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and the show starting at 7 p.m. There will also be a silent auction during the event to raise additional funds.

Mark your calendars for this exciting event and help us make this Match Month the best one yet!
